In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Balkis Bouchouicha

Balkis is a Grade 11 student and a natural leader, known for her commanding stage presence and exceptional intelligence. A top achiever with strong planning and leadership skills, she consistently demonstrates deep knowledge and remarkable talent in organizing and inspiring others.

Dıdem Tarlalı

A storyteller, and educator; Didem studied Turkish Language and Literature at Uludağ University and History of Religions at Dokuz Eylül University. She worked at the Yunus Emre Institute in Germany, Sarajevo and Beirut. Didem has performed in several international festivals and has organized workshops for adults and children. She worked with refugee children in Istanbul and Kilis and prepared a book of stories written by children with the My Story Project. She has a poetry book called My Heart Resists Time Like This.

Leen Ezzaldeen

Leen is a Grade 12 student known for her brilliance, diverse skill set, and extensive knowledge. She consistently demonstrates intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a strong drive for excellence across academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Sara Boudaka

Sara is a Grade 10 student recognized for her intelligence, exceptional public speaking skills, and natural leadership abilities. She confidently takes initiative, inspires her peers, and communicates with clarity and purpose.

Yomna Abdullah
